Outdoors beside a palm tree and an ornate terracotta-coloured shrine pillar, a figure in red-orange garments and a red and white flower garland hoists a large saffron-orange flag bearing a dark bird-like emblem. A second person in orange robes with a gold-striped shawl, shaved head and a rudraksha-style necklace stands at lower right, pulling the flag rope. Yellow marigold garlands drape the shrine base. The flag ascends a pole with help from the attendant, a flagging or flag-hoisting moment at an ashram-style outdoor setting.2012-04-23Outdoors among tall coconut palms, a standing figure in red-orange robes and a red-and-white flower garland holds up a large saffron flag bearing a dark circular emblem with a white curved mark. Below, a kneeling devotee in orange saffron cloth with a bare upper back and a flower garland faces upward, hands near the flag's pole. The stone base beside them is carved and decorated with yellow marigold garlands and scattered petals. This appears to be a flag-hoisting or flag-offering ritual.2012-04-23Outdoors beneath a coconut palm, a person in a red-orange saffron robe and a red-and-white flower garland pulls a rope to raise a saffron-orange flag on a tall copper flagstaff.
