A seated figure on a red-cushioned throne with a high arched back, wearing an orange-red robe and gold waist cloth, holds a small ceremonial object and smiles while speaking into a microphone on a stand. Behind him is a gilded deity murti draped in garlands and a green and gold cloth. Dozens of students sit cross-legged on the floor in white dhotis with gold borders, some wearing orange cloths and orange turbans, and many have bare shoulders and rudraksha malas. A standing fan and a camera on a tripod are at the edges.2015-06-25A photograph taken at night in an indoor hall. A standing man with long dark wavy hair wears an orange-saffron shawl and orange robe, with a long beaded rudraksha-style mala around his neck, and holds a wooden staff while smiling. Around him sit many young people in white kurta-style clothes with orange shawls, several smiling and some wearing orange scarves over white garments. Plastic chairs and striped decorative pillars are visible in the background. The standing figure has distinctive long hair, saffron clothing and a mala, which matches the a person appearance cues; the identification remains uncertain.2007-12-25A photograph of a seated satsang gathering in a bright hall with sheer white curtains. A smiling person in an orange sleeveless robe sits on a raised seat at right, speaking into a stand microphone and holding a small white object. Around them, a large audience sits on the floor and on chairs, mostly women in white and orange clothes with yellow shawls, along with some men in white and orange. A pillow with a floral pattern rests beside the speaker, and a patterned rug lies on the floor.2008-12-31A long-haired person in a red and gold saffron-toned robe sits cross-legged on a red cushioned platform, holding a black microphone and speaking to a seated group. Around them, many children and young people in orange and saffron clothing sit on the floor, some with white or orange head coverings and beaded necklaces. A small wooden table with an orange cloth stands beside the speaker, with chairs and cabinets in the background. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with white walls. The seated speaker shows a candidate appearance with long hair and saffron clothing, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the speaker is described by role as a teacher addressing students.2015-06-25June 25 20152015-06-25June 25 20152015-06-25A photograph of a darshan line in a tented hall. A man in a white shirt and an orange shawl stands nearby. In front, a kneeling man in white shirt and a girl in pink with a small child sit with hands folded. Behind them, a woman in a white sari and others stand in a queue. On the right, a young boy in white with a chain necklace stands, and men in white dhotis and other devotees move through the hall. Plain fans, bright striped hangings and tent walls are visible. The seated figure's long swept hair, orange wrap and garland match the probable-identity cues; this is a person in the darshan setting.2007-02-11A seated congregation of women in white and cream saris with gold borders, hands pressed together in anjali, fills a hall.
