September 11 20162016-09-11Night-time photo of a seated man in a maroon-red robe on an ornate gilded and red-cushioned throne, holding a lit camphor or oil flame on a brass plate while looking down at it. A brass trident (trishul) stands behind him, and a second person in orange-gold clothing and a rudraksha mala stands at right, partly visible, presenting or tending the flame. Another person in white sits in the background beside a white appliance. Warm lens flare and smoke from the flame. The seated figure's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity from the cues visible here, so role is given as a seated priest or presider performing an aarti with a flame. The page does not indicate a person is present at this event.2016-09-11A bearded man with long, swept-back hair sits on an ornate red and gold throne, dressed in a saffron-orange robe, holding a small cup or bowl in his hands. A hand offers him a spoon from the right side of the frame, while a small wooden side table stands in front of him. A blurred figure in the lower right corner and a stage light flare create a warm, hazy atmosphere. The setting appears to be an evening satsang or ritual gathering. A white fan with a grille is visible to the right.2016-09-11September 11 20162016-09-11A seated figure in orange saffron robes with long, swept-back dark hair sits on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet back, writing or signing something on a small card while holding a pen. Several shaved-headed men in orange and saffron garments are in the foreground, seen from behind, and a brass or gold decorated stand is at the left edge. Dark drapes hang behind the throne.
