A photograph of seated devotees on green mats in an open camp tent with an orange backdrop at the Kumbha Mela. In the foreground a man in white dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged, another in white with red-bordered cloth sits beside him, and a man in a white garment with a red cloth at the waist sits at right, all with white tilak on their foreheads. Behind them more seated men in white and light clothing sit on green mats and red plastic chairs. A man in a brown cap and white cloth sits on a red chair at centre. A printed banner above lists temples such as Kanchipuram, St. Louis-Tirumala, Malaysia-Palani and Hyderabad-Bhagyanagaram with deity photographs. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.

Five men sit in a row of white plastic chairs in a hall with pale pink walls and framed pictures, reciting or meditating during a ritual sitting. The man at left wears white kurta with rudraksha mala, red-orange shawl, eyes closed, holding a small book and a metal item. The second man wears white with a red shawl and holds a red-covered book; the third, bearded and bespectacled, wears orange-red wrap and white dhoti with yellow border, palms pressed together in anjali. Two more men in white dhotis with yellow borders sit to the right, one holding papers. A small red book with a golden deity image on its cover rests on the lap of the leftmost man, and bare feet rest on the tiled floor.

Two men in white and one in orange and yellow stand or sit in the background, and a camera operator stands at left. Chanting and paadapuja-style worship are visible, with ash marks on the bodies and garlands of beads worn by several men.

Photograph of a seated crowd at an outdoor satsang tent. In the right foreground, a man with swept-back dark hair wears a white shawl over a saffron-orange garment, a rudraksha mala and a pendant, with white and red tilak on his forehead, eyes closed. To his left, an older white-haired man in white clothes and a rudraksha mala sits beside a man in a black jacket with a red tilak. On the far left, a bald, bearded sadhu in orange robes and rudraksha malas sits with a white forehead band. Behind them, a man in glasses and white kurta stands, and a banner of printed photographs of temples and deities hangs on the tent wall, with a yellow-green rope barrier in front and a red-cushioned chair row. Several people are visible, with a white-bearded man and others behind the rope.
