A figure with long matted dreadlocks, bare-chested and wearing a red-orange cloth with a purple-and-white flower garland over his shoulder, stands at right pointing with one arm toward the shrine while holding a silver tray with yellow thread, a coconut and offerings. The murti wears a tall golden crown and jewelled ornaments, flanked by long garlands of white, yellow and red flowers. A banana-leaf canopy hangs in the foreground and an orange drape and gold-patterned backdrop frame the altar. Only one person is visible, so the a person appearance is uncertain given the page's mention of a person, with no clear identifying cues beyond the dreadlocks and flower garland.2016-12-19A photograph of a ritual on a stage before a silver-framed shrine holding a decorated deity murti, dressed in a red and gold garment with a blue cloth below and garlands of green, purple, yellow and red around it. A standing man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl, bare-shouldered, with dark hair and wooden rudraksha-style beads at his neck, raises one hand toward the murti's face in a ritual gesture. Brass and silver vessels sit on a silver stand at the front, with scattered flower petals on the floor, and a red and gold umbrella canopy hangs above. Red drapes and a temple pillar backdrop complete the scene.2018-04-23
