A photograph of a close, intimate moment during darshan. A man with long dark hair and a white turban, wearing a white embroidered garment, leans forward smiling and touches the forehead of an older man with short grey hair whose eyes are closed and whose palms are pressed together in devotion. Behind them, another man in white with an orange shawl and several people stand in a room with a dark wall, a banner or board above, and a curtain. The turbaned figure is distinctive in saffron-free white dress with long hair, a presentation consistent with the page's reference to a person, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2006-12-23April 22 20122012-04-22 +1 copiesOctober 23 20112011-10-23December 23 20062006-12-23 +1 copiesApril 15 20122012-04-15July 30 20062006-07-30December 11 20112011-12-11A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, bare-chested with a wrap, wearing a long rudraksha-style mala and gold ornaments, reaching both hands to press on the head of an older bald-to-grey-haired man in a white shirt who bows forward with eyes closed. Behind them a camera on a tripod records the scene, a brass oil lamp with a flame stands at right, a white fan sits at left, and a standing crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis watches from the left background.2010-11-25A photograph of a smiling man in a white turban with gold border and a white shawl edged in gold, wearing a multicolour and white flower garland and long dark hair, placing his hands on the head of a seated older man in white who has his eyes closed and palms pressed together. Around them, women in white saris and an orange scarf look on, one holding a mala, and a man in white in the background photographs with a camera. Several hands are visible in the foreground, and a bowl of flowers sits at right.2006-07-30A seated long-haired figure in white dhoti and shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala and bangle, is being touched on the face by an older man in a white shirt with grey hair. The seated figure sits on an ornate dark wooden throne with a tiger-striped cushion, flanked by white and red flower garlands. Behind them hang orange curtains. A woman in a cream sari with orange border sits at right. The older man's hands cradle the seated figure's face and forehead in a blessing-like gesture. A red tray of offerings sits at lower left. The seated figure has a sandalwood mark on the forehead. The older man is a devotee giving a blessing, while the seated figure, presented on a throne, is the a person, wearing white ritual clothes with a rudraksha mala, long swept-back hair, and a visible forehead mark.2012-03-31A photograph of a devotee with eyes closed and a moustache, wearing a white t-shirt with red rudraksha mala beads and a pendant, receiving a blessing as a person in a large white turban and white garment places a hand on his forehead. The turbaned figure has long dark hair and a pink and blue flower garland. Behind them, several men in white kurta-style clothing stand in a room with a blue cabinet and an ID badge visible. The turban-wearer does not show distinctive a person cues beyond a white turban and white clothing, so presence is uncertain.2006-07-30A bare-chested man in a white turban and white wrap with gold trim stands at right, smiling broadly with long dark hair and a red garland at his neck, and presses his right hand onto the forehead of a seated man at left who wears a plain white shirt and has his eyes closed. Behind them, several people in white clothes sit in a dim hall with a lattice screen and a small framed picture on the wall. The scene suggests a blessing gesture during a meditation programme.2004-05-27
