2003 World Tour - Bay Area USAA photograph of a large circle of devotees in a hotel ballroom with a gold patterned carpet and an exit sign above a door. Many people in white clothing, some with rudraksha malas, form a ring with arms linked and raised hands, while others in saffron and orange robes stand among them. A tall figure in a long orange-red shawl stands near the centre of the circle with arms outstretched, appearing to lead the group. Onlookers in the foreground, some with palms pressed together, face the circle. A projection screen is visible at the upper right. The scene looks like a padapuja or satsang gathering with group movement.2013-12-09A group of about a dozen adults walks across a bright, polished hall at a Dhyana Spurana-style residential program, with folding chairs and banners in green, orange and maroon along the back wall. Most wear white or cream clothing; a woman in a cream sari with gold border and a man in a white shirt with a rudraksha-style necklace walk near the front. A man in a grey sweater and khaki trousers, and a woman in a green pant set, are in the middle of the group. The walking appears to be a guided group movement during the programme.2006-04-302003 World Tour - Bay Area USAA photograph of a crowded hotel function room with a patterned carpet, recessed ceiling and pendant lights. Many devotees in white and cream clothing stand close together with raised hands and palms clasped, appearing to sing or chant. A woman in a cream sari with a red and white bangle holds a red object. Other women wear pink, maroon and pale green saris, and men wear white kurta-style shirts and cream trousers. No clearly identifiable central figure stands out in the frame.A joyful group dance in an indoor hall with many people crowded together, arms raised and swaying. In the centre, a smiling woman in a white sari with a gold border wears a dark beaded mala and a red bindi, her arm outstretched. Around her, women in white saris and white kurtas wear rudraksha malas, and others in orange tops clap and move. A woman with a striped headband at right smiles in a white top. No clearly identifiable a person is visible, so the a person field is none.2008-06-09Indoor hotel function room with warm wall sconces, a recessed lit ceiling and rows of maroon banquet chairs. A group of devotees in white clothing stands and claps, several smiling. In the foreground a woman in a white embroidered kurta and white trousers raises a thumbs-up and laughs. Beside her a woman in a pale peach embroidered shawl and dark beaded necklace holds an orange-tasselled stick. Other men and women in white kurtas and light pink shirts stand behind, with a silver urn on a draped table at left. No a person candidate is visibly present.2004-02-29March 04 20062006-03-04Indoor photograph of a meditation or satsang session in a hotel-style conference room with drop ceilings and fluorescent lights. Many participants stand on white sheets spread across the carpet, most in white or light clothing. A woman in the centre has both arms raised overhead, and others on the left and right have hands pressed together in prayer. Floor cushions, green mats, water bottles and bags lie on the floor. A large vertical banner on the left shows a portrait of a man in a white turban, labelled with printed text. Doorways, framed pictures and potted plants line the walls.2006-03-18A crowded indoor hall with a tiled floor and white-washed walls, where many devotees stand with palms pressed together in namaskar, dressed mostly in white. Men wear white shirts and dhotis, women wear white and cream saris and salwar-style clothing, and one woman in the foreground wears a pale floral sari with purple print. Several participants have their eyes closed or look downward in devotion. Red curtains hang at the windows at left and back. The scene suggests a group energy darshan session with a crowd of attendees gathered in prayer, though the teacher is not visible in this frame.2003-03-16Photograph inside a warmly lit hotel-style conference room with wall sconces and carpeted floor during an Ananda Spurana meditation gathering in Oklahoma. Many devotees in white and cream kurtas, salwar and shawls stand and sit among rows of chairs; a woman in a pale yellow jacket with a light scarf holds hands with a young girl in white and red. In the foreground a woman in a light blue top wears a rudraksha mala, and a woman in a maroon top sits smiling. At the right edge a man in white robes faces away. No figure can be confidently identified as a person from appearance alone, so the photo is treated as a crowd scene with attendees.2004-02-29A group photograph. Most wear white kurtas, salwar or sarees, and several have rudraksha or beaded malas. Many stand with palms pressed together in namaste or clapping, and a man in a white polo with a name badge stands at left with arms folded. No central figure matching the a person cues is visible.
