Outdoor riverside homa at Rishikesh with a fire pit burning in the lower right, flames rising beside a small metal vessel and fruit offerings. Two saffron-robed sadhus sit in the foreground: the nearer one holds a small bowl and the other, a woman with long dark hair, reads from an open book. Behind them a murti of a deity stands on a carved wooden table draped in red cloth with a garland and a kalasha-style brass pot, and a woman in white kneels with offerings. Several onlookers stand near the river, including a man in a pink shirt with hands folded, boys in striped and green shirts, and a woman in a yellow sari. Dark rocks and rushing water fill the background.

Outdoor ritual puja at a riverside-style courtyard. A long-haired man in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala holds a lit aarti lamp and a small bell over a golden deity murti and a golden stepped kalasha-shaped vessel on a carved wooden platform splashed with yellow liquid. Marigold garlands and flower offerings sit on brass plates before him. Beside him a shaved-headed man in saffron sits cross-legged, and a man in white with a saffron shawl sits with palms joined. Behind them, devotees in orange and yellow shawls stand or sit with hands folded, including an older white-bearded man with a beaded necklace and an older woman. A microphone stand stands at the back, and a red pillar and a wall with painted script complete the setting.

Outdoor evening ritual by a brick fire pit where a bright flame rises from a homa. Two women in saffron-orange robes sit cross-legged on a white cloth at left, one with hands folded in prayer. Behind them, a man in an orange top and a man in a white shirt sit near a brass vessel and a small ornate silver altar or murti. On the right, seated participants wear casual clothes and lanyard badges. Overhead, a colourful embroidered cloth banner with a red and green border hangs above a row of standing people holding umbrellas and a red parasol.

Outdoor ritual on a riverside ghat beside the Ganga. A long-haired man in a red-orange robe and rudraksha mala sits cross-legged before a small wood fire with a coconut in the flames, ringing a brass bell with one hand and sprinkling something with the other. A brass oil lamp and a plate of offerings sit at right. Around them devotees sit and stand, several with palms pressed together in prayer, a woman in green and a woman in maroon among them. Standing behind, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti and a shirtless man with a rudraksha mala watch with hands folded, and a woman in a yellow printed salwar kameez stands with palms joined. The water and stone steps of the river are visible behind. Based on the page excerpt this is a homa during a Himalayan yatra, though the image itself does not show the a person identity.

Outdoors on a riverside ghat beside a wide green river with forested hills and a suspension bridge behind. A standing man in an orange knitted cap, rust-red robes and gold-bead necklaces presses his palms together in prayer near a small brick fire pit with burning flames. A second man in a red-orange wrap and turban kneels at the right, holding a small brass vessel over a tray of offerings, lamps and flower petals on a red mat. Behind them a woman in white and blue and several seated people with hands folded watch the ritual. A figure in yellow robes walks along the left steps.

Outdoor riverside homa on the banks of the Ganga at Rishikesh. A seated man in a saffron-orange robe with long wet hair and a rudraksha mala leads a fire ritual, holding a flaming ladle over a small fire of wooden logs and a coconut in the centre. A brass oil lamp, a brass bell, a steel plate and a water bottle lie nearby. Around him, people sit on wet stone, some with hands folded in prayer. Standing behind are shirtless men in white dhotis and a man in a green towel, plus a woman in a yellow sari with a garland. The water and steps of the river are visible in the background.

A homa is performed on a riverside stone platform draped with orange cloth. In the centre, a man with long, swept-back dark hair, a red tilak and an orange wrap sits cross-legged before a rectangular metal fire pit where flames rise from wood. Beside him to the left, a man in an orange wrap and a gold necklace holds a brass plate of wood offerings. Further left, a man in orange wears a gold necklace. Mango fruit, brass vessels, a kalasha-type pot, marigold petals and a microphone on a stand are arranged on the cloth. Behind them a small child in a green top stands, and devotees and bathers are visible along the riverbank.
