January 30 20142014-01-30Outdoor procession scene. In the foreground, a man with shoulder-length dark hair and a red bindi wears an orange robe and a long garland of white, yellow, red and purple flowers, with a gold bead necklace and a gold-rimmed mala, and he smiles while holding his hands together. Behind him a man in a matching orange robe wears a gold bead necklace with a pendant and stands beside a gold-tipped staff. Above them a red parasol with tassels shows, and other orange-clad and white-clad attendants stand near a silver ornamental finial at the lower right. The clothing of the foreground man and the second man in orange robes is visible; the swami identity is an appearance-based candidate only and cannot be confirmed from the face.2009-12-23A street procession outdoors under bright sunlight with trees and a utility pole behind. At centre, a figure with long dark hair and a forehead mark wears an orange robe and a large garland of yellow and red flowers with green leaves, plus a gold chain pendant. Beside him on the right, a man in a red shirt with an orange-and-maroon shawl and a rudraksha mala walks with his hand near an orange cloth. To the left, a young man in a white shirt and orange shawl holds a tall golden staff topped with a finial. Behind them, many people in orange and white clothing follow, and a tall silver trident-like standard rises at upper right beside an orange flag.2007-12-22A photograph of a man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi, wearing an orange-saffron robe and a white jasmine garland with red rose accents. He wears a heavy gold rudraksha-style bead mala with a gold pendant, and looks upward and smiling in front of palm fronds. Another person in orange clothing is partially visible at the left edge. Swamiji (probable) appearance cues: long hair, saffron clothing, gold mala and garland, seated as a speaker or honoured figure at a festival setting.2008-12-23December 27 20092009-12-27A smiling man with long dark hair and white tripundra marks on his forehead, a red bindi, wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment and a long necklace of gold bead-and-bell ornaments alternating with multicoloured beads. Beside him, a bearded man in saffron robes, wearing glasses and a rudraksha mala, stands near a small red-petalled offering basket at the left edge. Other men in white shirts and dhotis, and a bare-chested man, stand behind them in an outdoor festival setting with striped canopy tents and a blue pole. The men in the foreground are close to the camera; several other people stand in the background.2009-11-25December 23 20092009-12-23December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04A photograph of three men walking outdoors past a leafy tree and green shrubs with a bamboo fence behind them. On the left, a man in an orange saffron kurta wears a long gold bead necklace with a pendant. In the centre, a bald man in an orange robe walks away from the camera. On the right, a man with long dark hair and a white dhoti-style garment wears a thick red and white flower garland and gold bead necklaces, with a tilak on his forehead, smiling. A blue sign is partly visible at lower right.2010-01-01December 27 20072007-12-27 +1 copiesOutdoor evening procession with a man in saffron-orange robes at centre, smiling, with long dark hair swept back, a red and white tilak on his forehead, a white and red flower garland and a heavy gold bead necklace, and a leopard-print shawl over one shoulder. Swamiji (probable) based on his long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, ornate gold necklace and flower garlands, shown in procession. Around him, saffron-robed sannyasis with white tilak marks and devotees in white and yellow cloth walk past palm fronds, and a large red cloth banner or fan is held at left edge. Several other saffron-clad attendants with long hair and beards stand nearby.2010-02-12A smiling man with long dark swept-back hair and a red vermilion bindi stands outdoors in a crowd. He wears an orange saffron wrap with a gold border and a heavy gold bead necklace, with a white and red flower garland draped over his shoulders. He holds a small gold object in one hand. Behind him, people in white and orange clothing stand among palm trees, and a golden trident is visible at the left edge. The setting appears to be a festival or ritual procession. The visible cues of long hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold necklace are consistent with the Swamiji (probable) appearance label.2007-01-01
