A shaved-headed man in white robes and a saffron-orange shawl walks with a cane, followed by a woman in an orange sannyasi robe and several young men in white dhotis and yellow shawls. Circular ash or burnt marks with small stones lie on the ground, and a low white stone platform sits in the foreground. A bamboo fence and a few other people in white appear in the background.2010-07-08A photograph of a grassy open ground with palm trees and low white buildings behind. A woman in an orange-saffron sari with a long orange dupatta stands in the centre, facing a line of people in white and cream traditional clothing, several wearing white dhotis and shirts. One man in white holds a garland of yellow-orange flowers, and others in white shirts and dark trousers stand nearby. A thatched structure decorated with garlands is visible at the right. The people are arranged in a formal, orderly line.2010-01-22July 30 20092009-07-30Outdoor photo on a dirt ground lined with tall coconut palms and a row of small flags on poles. A central figure seen from behind has long dark hair and wears an orange sleeveless top and orange wrap. Facing him are several men in white dhotis and white or pale shirts, some with orange shawls, plus a boy in a grey shirt, a man in a blue shirt and a woman in a maroon sari holding a handbag. White SUVs are parked behind them, and small stone pillars and offerings sit at left. The central figure has long swept-back hair and orange clothing, but the image gives insufficient cues to confirm identity.2007-12-20January 02 20122012-01-02December 11 20092009-12-11Outdoor photo of a palm-lined compound with a grassy lawn and sandy ground. Several concrete posts stand upright in a row, and small mounds of soil lie around them. Around a dozen people in white dhotis, white shirts and kurtas stand and watch, along with a woman in a white sari and another in a pale sari. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe stands near the posts, with a person in a yellow-and-white outfit to the left. A thatched-roof hall with green and yellow bunting lies behind, beside a white building and a parked silver SUV. A banner with Tamil text hangs near the thatched hall.2010-01-22Outdoor photo of a group walking along a dirt path lined with coconut palms and a row of flagpoles with colourful flags, with white vans parked behind. In the centre, a long-haired man in a saffron-orange robe with a long gold necklace, a probable Swamiji by appearance cues (long hair, saffron clothing, ornate gold necklace), walks ahead of the group. Behind him, devotees in white dhotis and shirts, a woman in a white sari, a woman in a maroon sari, and a child in a pink shirt follow. A saffron-robed attendant in the right foreground carries a bag. Granite posts border the path in the foreground.2007-12-20Outdoor photo of a group walking along a dusty road lined with parked cars, trucks and a white tanker, with palm and tropical trees behind. In the foreground a man in a checked short-sleeved shirt watches. Several men in plain white ritual clothing walk away from the camera, one wearing a white dhoti with a yellow sash. A woman in a flowing orange sari walks at left, and a shaved-headed man in an orange robe walks beside her. Bystanders in green, yellow and red clothing stand at right beside a concrete wall.2010-09-05January 22 20102010-01-22
