In the foreground a clean-shaven man in saffron-orange robes with a dark rudraksha mala and glasses sits cross-legged with eyes closed. Beside him a man with long dark hair and white sandalwood marks on his forehead and arms wears a maroon dhoti with a gold border and orange shawl. Further back other men in saffron and maroon robes sit on the floor, one in white. A seated group of saffron-robed monastics, most with white vertical tilak marks on their foreheads and rudraksha malas around their necks, sit in a row with palms pressed together in prayer or anjali mudra. Several wear wrist bangles and watches, and one older bald man in orange wears glasses. Partially visible white-clad devotees sit at the upper left. Brass vessels and a small offering tray are visible at the lower right. The scene suggests a satsang or ritual gathering.

Several shaved-headed men in plain white dhotis sit close together in a meditation session, performing a nasal breathing practice with their right hands raised to their noses. The man in the centre wears thin-rimmed glasses and a rudraksha mala, and has white ash marks on his forehead and upper arm. The man on the left wears a gold ring and gold bracelet and a mala, and the man on the right wears a gold bracelet and a mala. Their eyes are closed.
