March 17 20062006-03-17A photograph of a Shiva Sutras discourse in a hall with yellow walls and an audience seated in rows of chairs, many seen from behind. Onstage, a man in white clothes with a red and gold shawl sits at a lectern in front of a red-draped chair with garlands. Behind him hangs a large banner reading "SHIVA SUTRAS" with a portrait of a smiling man in a white turban and dark robe, labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" on the banner. Red and purple draped fabric frames the banner, and red flower arrangements stand on either side of the stage. Several audience members hold devices or sit near a white flip chart.2006-04-19March 17 20062006-03-17A seated speaker in white clothing with a rudraksha mala sits on a wooden chair before an audience in a hotel conference room, delivering a talk. A large banner behind him reads "SHIVA SUTRAS" with a smiling portrait of a man in an orange turban and dark coat, and the Nithyananda logo. Pink and yellow flower arrangements sit beside the speaker. A video camera on a tripod faces him, and rows of seated attendees fill the foreground in chairs with green cushions. A framed portrait of a turbaned figure is visible on the right wall.2006-04-14March 24 20062006-03-24A photograph of a seated discourse in a hall with a red-and-blue draped stage backdrop reading part of a sign for Nithyananda Spurana Programme and a logo of a bird. A person in long flowing orange robes with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala sits on a cushioned chair on the raised stage, facing the audience, with a white-robed man seated nearby on the stage floor. Potted palms, flower arrangements and red-clothed tables decorate the stage; an easel and tripod-mounted camera stand at the sides. Around ten audience members sit in red-cushioned chairs, facing the stage, several with their backs to the camera. The orange-robed figure with long hair and mala wearing a shawl is a probable Swamiji (probable) seated as a teacher giving a satsang discourse.2006-03-27A seated speaker with long dark hair in gold-bordered cream and white traditional clothing sits on a white sofa with red cushions, holding a microphone in front of a music stand. Audience members seen from behind in the foreground include a woman in purple, a woman with grey hair, a bald man in a dark top and others. Behind the speaker hangs a banner and a blue backdrop with a white swan motif, flanked by red curtains, flower arrangements and potted plants, with a small golden deity figure on a side table and a television on the left. A banner at top reads All are welcome. a person is the seated speaker, wearing gold-bordered white garments on a sofa as a discourse presenter. The framed portrait at the top shows a figure in dark clothing with ornate red-and-gold trim.2006-03-17April 19 20062006-04-19March 20 20062006-03-20Wide view from the back of a hall filled with seated audience on brown folding chairs, facing a stage at the far end. A banner reading "SHIVA" with a framed portrait hangs above the stage, flanked by floral arrangements and red and gold draping. A seated figure in white garments sits at a small table with a microphone, and a standing attendant in white stands nearby. Audience members wear mixed casual clothing including red, plaid and floral tops. Ceiling fluorescent lights and a wall-mounted television are visible.2006-03-15A seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits on a large cream-coloured armchair on a stage before a deep red draped curtain. The person smiles and holds a small white sheet, with a microphone stand beside them and a tripod-mounted camera at left. Red and white flower arrangements sit on small side tables flanking the chair, and stage lights stand at each side. In the foreground, the backs of many audience members, mostly women with dark and light hair, face the stage. The person in the chair appears to be a person, identified by the saffron robes and seated position; the scene reads as a seated discourse or satsang.2009-12-14A seated audience of roughly fifty people fills a hall facing a raised stage with a white throne-like chair set before dark red curtains. A figure in saffron-orange robes sits on the throne holding papers, with a microphone stand in front and a studio light and camera on tripods at the side. Audience members wear white, pink, teal, green and maroon clothing and sit on mats, some with water bottles. Hanging decorative banners with geometric patterns and orange tassels are visible at the top left. The orange-clad figure has long dark hair; this is a person appearance based on saffron clothing and a seated position on the throne, though not conclusive.2010-02-10
