A photograph of a smiling person seated on an ornate gold throne decorated with a large arch of marigold and rose garlands in orange, yellow, purple, red and white. The seated person wears an orange-red turban with a red dot on the forehead, a red and gold garland, multiple gold beaded necklaces, an orange robe and gold bangles, with hands resting on the armrests. Golden lamps with peacock-shaped stands flank the throne, and a faint printed copyright line appears at the lower right. Only one physical person is visible. The appearance of the seated person is consistent with the page's reference to a person, presented on a throne, but the identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so the candidate is marked unsure. +1 copiesA smiling man with long, swept-back black hair sits cross-legged on a cream cushioned throne in front of a dense backdrop of yellow, white, red and purple flower garlands and an ornate gold-embossed panel. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe with gold borders and a heavy gold necklace of beads and a pendant, with a red vibhuti or kumkum mark on his forehead. His hands rest together in his lap. Swamiji (probable) cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, ceremonial gold necklace, seated on a throne.2009-12-27A smiling man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits cross-legged on a cream-upholstered throne with a gold-carved frame, dressed in an orange sleeveless robe with gold borders. He wears a heavy gold rudraksha-style necklace of bead strands and holds a small bouquet of marigolds, roses and greenery in one hand. The throne is framed by garlands of yellow marigolds, white and red flowers, and purple blooms, with a gilded deity relief behind. Appearance-based candidate for Swamiji (probable), seated in a position of honour as the central figure; the long hair, orange robe, gold necklace and gilded throne are the qualifying cues. Only one person is physically present.2009-12-27A seated figure on an ornate golden throne decorated with garlands of yellow marigolds, purple and white flowers and green foliage. The figure has long dark hair, a red tilak on the forehead, and wears an orange-saffron garment with a heavy gold-coloured multi-strand necklace of beads. Sitting cross-legged on golden cushions, the person smiles to one side. Behind the throne is a gilded deity murti set in the flower arch, with a red curtain and white drape in the background. A small microphone stand and flower arrangements sit at the sides. Appearance-based label: a person, seated on a peetha in a ceremonial setting.2009-12-27December 27 20092009-12-27July 04 20132013-07-04 +2 copiesA man with long swept-back dark hair sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion heads, draped in garlands of yellow, red, purple and white flowers. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron-orange ceremonial clothing, ornate gold necklace and throne seating. The background has a burlap-style backdrop with a large om symbol and a blue crescent-moon emblem, with floral arrangements at the sides. The scene suggests a Brahmotsavam celebration, but no visible text confirms the event.2008-12-28A man with long, swept-back black hair sits on an ornate gold throne decorated with garlands of yellow, white, purple and red flowers. He sits smiling on a gold throne-like seat framed by an arch of purple, yellow, red and white flower garlands, with cushioned armrests on either side.
