January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a man standing on a white cushioned platform on a stage, palms pressed together at chest level in namaste with eyes closed. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe draped over the shoulders and body. Behind him hangs deep maroon velvet drapery, and to his right is a cream upholstered throne-style chair with carved wooden arms and a microphone on a stand. A water bottle sits on a side table and a blue mat lies at the stage edge. Swamiji (probable): long dark hair swept back and a saffron robe, with the candidate standing in a greeting posture on a dais beside a throne.2010-01-02 +1 copiesA standing man in an orange-saffron sleeveless garment with a matching wrap draped over one shoulder presses his palms together in front of his chest, eyes closed, in a respectful namaskar gesture. He has long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi or tilak on his forehead. Behind him hangs a cream drapery swagged with deep red fabric, and a vase of pale purple flowers sits on a pedestal at right. An orange upholstered chair is partly visible at right edge, and an air cooler stands at lower left. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and tilak are the qualifying cues for the person in this photograph.2010-02-14A photograph of a single man standing in profile with his palms pressed together in namaskar at his chest and his eyes lowered. He wears long, swept-back dark hair and an orange-saffron unstitched robe draped over one shoulder. The plain cream backdrop is beside a red-orange pillar on the right edge of the frame.2010-02-14A standing man against a plain white studio backdrop, with a small white bird logo at upper left, performs a namaste gesture with palms pressed together at chest height and eyes lowered. He has long, wavy dark hair, a red bindi on his forehead, and wears a flowing saffron-orange robe draped over one shoulder with a matching orange garment, along with a long rudraksha mala of brown beads reaching his chest. He stands barefoot on a dark grey floor. The appearance-based cues of long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha malas are present, so he is a person, shown in person.2006-12-08September 15 20112011-09-15A person in saffron-orange robes and a long orange top with a gold ceremonial necklace stands on a raised stage step, bowing deeply with palms pressed together in front of the face. Behind is a dark red velvet curtain, and to the right a cream upholstered chair with a cushion sits beside a microphone stand. A projection screen hangs on the left wall, and a blue cloth lies on the lower step. The bowing figure shows distinctive ceremonial cues, a gold necklace and saffron garments, so this is a person in person, honoured at a satsang-style stage event.2010-01-05January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA seated man with long dark hair and a small red tilak on his forehead sits on a large orange velvet throne with rounded armrests, hands pressed together in anjali mudra with eyes closed. He wears a flowing saffron-orange shawl wrapped over sleeveless cloth, and a microphone stand is visible at right against a deep maroon velvet curtain.2010-07-09A barefoot man in an orange-saffron sleeveless wrap and matching dhoti stands with palms pressed together in anjali namaskar, with a small red bindi on his forehead and long dark hair tied back. Behind him on the left, a man in a maroon shirt and white trousers, also with palms joined, sits near a white plastic chair beside a wooden door. A silver stand pole with red clamps stands beside him, and a small projector sits on a white-draped table to the right. The floor is light tile with a blue mat at the lower left. Swamiji (probable): the standing figure has long swept-back hair, a bindi and saffron clothing, and the presentation is consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji at this event.2009-07-09A person with long, dark, swept-back hair stands with palms pressed together in front of the face in a namaste gesture, head bowed. The person wears an orange and yellow-striped garment draped over the shoulders and a small red mark on the forehead. The background is a bright, washed-out light with a pink fabric or banner edge at the top right. The page does not flag a person at this event, so no identity is asserted.2011-08-22A man with long, swept-back dark hair sits in an orange upholstered chair with his palms pressed together in namaste and his eyes closed. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment with a gold ceremonial necklace and gold-toned beads. An orange cushion sits in the lower right and a tray with small offerings is on a side table at left. The background shows a white pillar and a dark red curtain. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), seated in a devotional posture with orange clothing, long hair and gold necklace.2010-07-24
