A photograph of a temple abhishekam at night. A man in a saffron-orange shawl draped over his head and shoulders, with a gold and jewelled necklace and white sacred ash on his forehead, stands at the left with his right hand resting on the top of a dark stone shivalingam, which is wet and has flower petals and a garland on top. Behind him at the right, a second man in orange robes with a gold chain and his hands near the lingam looks down. Stone architecture with carved scrollwork frames the top of the image against a dark background.

A photograph of a night-time abhishekam at a Shiva lingam. A long-haired man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a tilak on his forehead, stands at centre and pours liquid with his right hand over a dark stone lingam topped with white flowers. To the right, a shaven-headed priest in orange robes, a rudraksha mala and gold ornaments holds a metal bowl beside the lingam. On the left, a second devotee in orange with gold and bead necklaces stands with hands clasped. A brass vessel is visible at the right edge.

A temple ritual scene with a man in saffron-orange robes wearing a long white and red flower garland and a gold-beaded necklace, a red bindi and white tilak on his forehead, and bangles on his wrists; he holds white petals in one hand while another man in orange dhoti and shawl with white tilak carries a gold tray. Behind them stand a large deity murti and a tall multicoloured flower garland of red, yellow, green and purple blooms, with a gold hand-gesture sculpture above. Carved stone pillars frame the temple hall. Candidate appearance is a long-haired figure with several cues but this is uncertain, so the central man is described by role as a devotee performing an offering.

A photograph of a temple courtyard with terracotta-orange walls and white-and-red striped pillars. In the centre, a man in saffron-orange robes and a long gold-beaded necklace stands with one hand on his chest, looking toward a carved grey stone shrine with a lion relief and a standing deity murti, with flowers and a brass plate on the stone ledge. A second man at right, bare-chested with a saffron cloth over one shoulder and a grey beard, stands with hands clasped. A gold-decorated stand with flowers sits at left. The wet stone floor reflects light.
