A photograph of a temple-style hall where a man in a brown dhoti and a bare-chested upper body stands with hands folded before a golden ceremonial throne (simhasana) draped with a purple cloth and garlanded with multicoloured flower strands. A shaved-headed priest in orange and a red-and-orange shawl stands beside an orange-draped offering table holding flowers and fruit, while another orange-clad person with a white headband stands at the throne's side. Seated devotees in orange and white on red mats line the left background beneath framed portraits on the wall, and red curtains hang at the windows. The man in brown has a rudraksha-style mala and a flower garland.2013-05-25Ritual scene in a hall with a gold ornate throne at left and right. A white-bearded elder in saffron robes with a white tilak sits on the left throne behind a garland. In front, a young man in white dhoti and shawl with white markings on his body and a rudraksha mala sits on the floor with folded hands. A man in rust-coloured dhoti and shawl with rudraksha mala and glasses stirs a silver bowl of red flower petals. A young boy in saffron with white tilak sits between them. At right, a seated person in a red-and-gold turban, long red flower garland, gold necklace and bangles sits on a gold throne beside a silver staff with a bird finial. Brass plates of bananas and a kalasha with mango leaves and coconut stand in front, with puja items nearby.2015-04-28July 30 20132013-07-30April 28 20152015-04-28May 11 20122012-05-11March 22 20132013-03-22October 27 20102010-10-27September 19 20132013-09-19A seated man in orange saffron robes and a long rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with eyes closed and hands folded, his bare feet resting on a gold footstool. Long dark hair falls past his shoulders, and a golden throne backrest rises behind him. In front, a woman in a white top and red sari with a green bangle sits with palms pressed together, while a woman in a yellow shawl and a woman in a cream-and-gold sari sit on the floor with palms joined. Silver and gold trays hold apples, pink flowers, sliced produce and small lamps, part of a pada puja ritual. An older man in white sits at the bottom edge. The setting is a red-and-white painted hall with curtains and a potted plant. Swamiji (probable): the seated man in saffron with long hair, crown-like throne setting and rudraksha mala is a candidate for the page's subject.2010-09-20August 07th 20152015-08-07April 28 20152015-04-28August 20 20142014-08-20
