On the left, an older man with grey hair and a clean-shaven face wears an orange-and-cream dhoti and shawl with a gold-striped border, and is bending forward to receive a woven basket of red flowers. On the right, a long-haired man in a white kurta and white shawl holds out the basket with both hands. The stage floor is wooden and a red curtain fills the background.2010-08-31A photograph of an indoor ceremony on a white-draped platform. A man with long dark hair and a red flower garland, wearing orange robes, sits on a cushion on the right and smiles while a kneeling man in white robes with an orange shawl presents a printed sheet. A third man in orange robes with gold beaded necklaces sits behind them, looking down at a document. A woman in a cream sari with a teal blouse and a woman in white with a yellow shawl stand behind, one holding papers. On the left, an easel displays a framed devotional print garlanded with white flowers, and a dark red curtain hangs at the back.2008-01-25August 03 20142014-08-03A photograph of a stage event at a Bhagavad Gita discourse setting, with a gold draped backdrop and strings of triangular bunting overhead. A man in white silk ceremonial robes with gold borders stands centre with palms pressed together in namaste, smiling. To the left, a woman in a white sari with gold border and a brown bead mala stands watching. On the right, an older man with white hair wears a red and gold silk shawl and bows with hands folded. Behind him, a figure in red and gold attire bends forward, possibly offering respect. A banner partly visible on the left reads a Bhagavad Gita title with a chariot illustration. The scene shows a ritual greeting of respect rather than a specific festival.2005-09-21A stage event with a large backdrop showing a close-up photograph of a smiling man in a white head covering, beside large red Tamil script letters. Three men stand centrally, with a fourth man in white at the left edge. The central figure wears an orange-saffron head wrap, an orange robe with a gold-bordered shawl, and a long rudraksha-style mala, holding a small blue-covered book. To his left, an older bearded man with white hair wears a pink robe and a red-and-cream shawl and grips the book. To the right, a man in white wears a maroon-and-cream shawl and also holds the book. Behind the figures are white plastic chairs and pink flowers. The central figure has distinctive long hair and saffron garments, but the appearance is only partly clear, so identity is uncertain.2004-10-27
