A seated figure in a deep maroon turban with a crescent ornament and a red bindi on the forehead sits on a gold-embossed throne draped with a zebra-stripe hide. He wears a long multi-strand necklace of white and silver beads, a brown knitted shawl, and layered rudraksha-style malas, with a patterned maroon robe. He raises one hand in a blessing gesture. In front of him stands a silver pedestal set with pink and green stones, holding a brass plate of red roses and white flowers around two brass cups. Garlands of red, white and yellow roses hang on his shoulders. The cues are consistent with the page's a person reference, so this is an appearance-based probable identification.2020-03-16March 16 20202020-03-16January 07 20192019-01-07December 29 20182018-12-29A smiling man seated on a leopard-print throne before an ornate silver repoussé backdrop. He wears a deep red turban with a gold and jewelled brooch, a red-orange robe with rudraksha bead work, heavy gold beaded necklaces, gold armlets and bangles, and layered white and red flower garlands. A red vertical mark is on his forehead, and he holds his hands on his lap wearing gold rings. Swamiji (probable): the long hair, turban, saffron-orange garb, rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold necklaces are the qualifying cues, and he is a single physical person seated on a throne.2018-04-24December 24 20182018-12-24 +1 copiesFebruary 16 20222022-02-16January 04 20192019-01-04A seated man in a maroon jeweled turban and maroon dhoti sits bare-chested on a leopard-print cushion beside an ornate silver throne with a lion motif. He wears layered rudraksha malas, heavy gold ceremonial necklaces, gold armlets and a gold ring, and a white tilak with a dark central mark. He smiles and gazes to the side with one hand resting on the silver armrest. Swamiji (probable): the candidate has long swept-back hair, a jeweled turban, ornate gold necklaces and rudraksha malas, and is seated on a throne, so the appearance-based label applies.2020-04-27October 21 20152015-10-21 +1 copiesJanuary 09 20192019-01-09February 16 20222022-02-16
