Rows of small leaf-plate dishes hold grains, seeds and pulses in varied colours: golden, dark brown, black, tan and green. Silver trays display sliced bananas, lemons, apples, a coconut, a cluster of green bananas, kumkum-red powder, turmeric yellow, and a cup of dark liquid. Bowls of cashews, pistachios, dried fruit and white rice complete the spread. No people are visible, and no deity, homa or readable event signage appears.2020-03-16 +2 copiesPhoto 11708910 +1 copiesA photograph of an offerings spread laid on a multicolored striped cloth in pink, purple, teal and green. Many small metal bowls hold ritual materials: red and orange powders, dried leaves, heaps of pink and red flower petals, yellow flowers, white powder, dark brown seeds, dates, dried fruit and nuts, and a pile of brown round items. A metal tray in the lower right holds white and grey chunks. No people are visible; the setup suggests preparation for abhishekam or puja offerings.2018-01-31September 19 20152015-09-19
