The silver dish sits on a larger gold-toned embossed tray. No people are visible; the sandals appear to be ceremonial padukas offered on the tray.2009-08-18Close-up photograph of a pair of ornate gold-coloured sandals, or padukas, resting in a silver tray with an elephant-head handle. Each sandal has intricate floral and scrollwork relief and a small red-pink gem set in a pale central boss. The silver tray sits on a larger brass or gold-embossed tray with a repeating geometric pattern, and a silver plate is visible at the lower right. No people are visible; the setting suggests a ritual display of paduka offerings.2009-08-18December 05 20162016-12-05Close view of bare feet resting on a silver tray filled with red rose petals, set on an ornate gold-carved throne or pedestal. The person wears an orange-saffron cloth with a gold border, and a silver elephant-headed spout and a silver staff rise at the right edge. The feet appear to be undergoing padapuja, the ritual washing and honouring of a teacher's feet. No face is visible; the figure is partially shown.2013-02-06 +1 copies
