A standing man in white dhoti with gold border and long dreadlocks stands at left, arm bands on upper arms. Behind, a saffron-robed man with a rudraksha mala stands near a wooden post and lantern-lit set, and seated devotees sit along the right edge in white and orange clothing. Festive Janmashtami-style games appear to be in progress under a floodlight.2016-08-25Night photo of a tug-of-war on a grassy ground lit by floodlights. Several people in saffron-orange clothing pull a long white rope; a bald man in an orange t-shirt stands at right watching, and others in grey tops and dark trousers pull on the rope behind. Metal drums are lined up in the background beside a red building and bare-soil mounds. Orange flip-flops lie on the grass in the foreground.2016-08-25January 18 20172017-01-18January 18 20172017-01-18Night-time tug-of-war on a dusty open ground lit by floodlights. In the foreground, a team in matching yellow-orange clothes pulls a rope, with a bare-footed person in orange at the front leaning back hard. Opposite them, a line of people in dark and white clothing, including a girl in a dark top and a woman in white trousers, pulls the other end. Behind, a crowd of onlookers in orange, maroon, blue checked shirts and light clothing watches. No individual can be identified as a person from appearance here, so the a person field is unsure.2016-08-25August 25 20162016-08-25A night-time photo of a tug-of-war on sandy ground under bright floodlights. Several young men in orange and red robes and a green shirt pull a thick white rope, leaning back with bent knees. On the right, a man in an orange shirt and orange-red tunic with long curly hair holds the rope and looks on. A man in white shirt and white dhoti stands near the centre of the rope, with a green book in his hand. Behind them, more people in dark and orange clothing watch, and a corrugated metal shelter and a bell or lamp-like structure stand in the background. Visible people appear to number around 15, and no one is clearly identified as a person.2017-01-18
