A line of women walks in procession carrying ornate decorated fan-like umbrellas or staves adorned with peacock feathers, pompoms and mirrored panels. The woman in front wears a pink floral sari with an orange shawl and holds a yellow garland; the next woman wears a bright orange kurta and pink-orange scarf, another wears a green-and-white patterned top with red trousers, and the woman in white with a white shawl and gold necklace stands in the centre. Others in yellow, red and green traditional dress follow behind, some barefoot. Folding chairs and a small table line the side, and a partly visible person in white stands at the right edge.2016-05-11December 24 20072007-12-24May 08 20162016-05-08 +1 copiesA procession of women and devotees moves under ornate ceremonial parasols with red, orange, blue and gold fabrics edged in silver beads and tassels. In the foreground a woman in white dhoti-style cloth with a red-and-brown sash and rudraksha-style beads holds a blue parasol aloft. Beside her a woman in a yellow-and-white garment walks with her head lowered. Several women in orange saris and beaded necklaces carry the red and orange umbrellas, and more people in white and orange stand behind in a covered hall with a metal roof.
