April 05 20162016-04-05A photograph of an outdoor site with dirt ground and tall trees behind. A figure with long dark hair wearing a saffron-orange robe stands at left, looking toward a row of gilded deity murtis set on woven mats and low bases, including multi-armed figures and a seated form with a crown. Stacked blue pipes, a red earth mound and piled sacks lie in the background. Whether the robed figure is a person cannot be established from appearance, so the figure is described only by role as a person in saffron robes.2006-12-22December 21 20062006-12-21March 04 20162016-03-04A photograph inside a large open-sided workshop hall with a corrugated roof and fluorescent lights, its floor paved with grey tiles. Rows of finished brass and bronze deity statues on wooden bases fill the floor, including standing figures, a seated figure and a cobra-hooded image. On the left a green wooden palanquin or ratha stands beside a shelf with a garland. Several men in traditional dhotis stand in the middle distance; one wears a blue shirt and holds a camera, another wears a red and gold shawl, and a figure in saffron-orange robes stands near the right. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.2014-10-12February 24 20072007-02-24A row of gilded metal deity murti statues stands on a concrete floor in a plain warehouse-style room, arranged on wooden-looking bases in front of a white block wall. Several figures wear red, orange, magenta and blue draped garments, and one central figure has an elephant head. Two large printed portrait banners hang on the wall behind them: the left one shows a man with long dark hair holding a cup, and the right one shows a woman with long dark hair and a red bindi, arms raised near her face. A green striped cloth is draped over a stand at left, and a yellow banner hangs at the top. No living people are visible in the scene.2007-02-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a row of gilded and silver-toned deity murti statues arranged on woven mats on bare sandy ground outdoors. Figures include a gold Ganesha seated on a lotus base at right, standing figures in purple, red, orange, blue and white draped garments, a figure with a tall crown holding raised hands, and a large standing gold figure at right. Behind them are stacked blue metal pipes, a pile of earth and scattered rubble.
