Outdoors under a large banyan tree, a group of about fifteen devotees stands in a semicircle before a black stone murti of a seated deity in orange cloth, adorned with a garland of white and yellow flowers, with a red and orange offering or puja arrangement at its base. Several women in white salwar kameez and saris, one in a pink kurta and one in a teal top, stand with hands folded in prayer or raised in gesture, while a man in a light shirt stands at the right edge. Sunlit leaves and hanging aerial roots frame the scene, with a yellow cloth draped on the left.2011-08-19A photograph of devotees gathered outdoors under a banyan tree at a shrine.
