A photograph of a homa fire ritual in progress. A priest in a rust-orange dhoti and shawl, with bare shoulders, glasses and a shaved head, leans over a tiered base of yellow turmeric-coloured bricks and pours from a small vessel into flames. Beside him, a younger attendant in an orange turban and saffron-and-gold wrap sits cross-legged, and another orange-turbaned man sits behind. Behind them, a decorated deity murti is draped with marigold and multicoloured garlands in front of a pink cloth. Brass vessels, a kalasha, a small oil lamp and flower offerings lie on the floor, and a golden throne-like seat is visible at upper left.

A photograph inside a dim stone shrine lit by warm lamps. At center, a priest in orange robes bends over a deity murti draped in red, gold and white cloth, with a bright flame burning before it. Three circular lamps glow on the wall behind. Around the shrine stand several men: a shaved-headed man in orange with a rudraksha mala at left, another in orange wrapping, a man in white dhoti with bare upper body, and a figure in orange at right; one holds a small orange cloth. Offerings sit on a plate at the base of the murti. No identifiable a person figure is clearly visible.

A homa fire burns in a brick fire pit in a hall with a gold throne and ceremonial gold standards behind it. A man in orange-brown dhoti and shawl with gold borders, wearing a red-and-white flower garland and a gold necklace, stands with palms pressed in namaskar. A second priest in a rust-orange turban and rudraksha mala pours liquid from a metal vessel into the fire. Two women in orange saris stand in the background, and a few devotees are visible at right near brass lamps. Offering bowls and oil lamps sit near the fire pit. The photo depicts a fire ritual, with a visible priest appearance-cued as a person by the page; the figure with the orange turban and rudraksha mala is the officiant, while the garlanded man is shown in namaskar. Identity is uncertain from appearance alone.
