A central figure sits on a sofa wearing a saffron-orange robe and a rudraksha mala, with a visitor badge, speaking to the group. Around a wooden coffee table, about a dozen seated devotees in white shirts, pale green and light blue clothing listen on the carpet and furniture. A small plant, orange flowers in a vase and a lit floor lamp complete the room. A man in a flowing saffron-orange robe sits barefoot in a cream upholstered armchair with carved wooden arms, palms pressed together in greeting. He has a bare head with short dark hair, and a white fur-like cushion lies on a leopard-print rug at his feet. Flower arrangements in white pots, yellow and orange blooms, and white orchids flank the stage. Seated in front, with their backs to the camera, are devotees in white clothes, with a bearded older man in white and rudraksha beads at left. Orange drapery hangs behind the stage.2007-09-04Indoor ritual scene in a plain room with green and yellow checked curtains and a white-covered sofa. A central figure in orange robes and a long brown rudraksha mala sits with palms pressed together in prayer, with a fire-lamp and offering plate before him. A woman in a green sari with orange border and gold bangles stands at left with hands folded. A seated man in white clothes holds a lamp (aarti) toward the offering. A younger man in white with an orange shawl rings a handbell at right, and another person with folded hands appears at the right edge. Brass oil lamps, bowls and a platter of flowers and fruit sit on the white cloth in the foreground.2009-08-11March 22 20062006-03-22
