The centre framed poster shows a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a rudraksha mala, seated cross-legged in front of a large tree trunk with one hand raised; this is a printed depiction, and the poster caption reads2010-02-18A man in an orange saffron robe with a white flower garland stands at the right side of a wall-mounted shrine, lighting a small flame with one hand toward the framed deity pictures. Framed gold-bordered prints of deities, one an arched figure with a tall crown and another a goddess holding lotus flowers, are decorated with white and pink flower garlands. Brass lamps, a small brass bowl and fruit sit on a wooden table below, and a framed portrait of a long-haired man in orange is visible in the lower frame. The man has long swept-back hair and a saffron robe, but his face and appearance are not distinctive enough to confirm a person, so he is described as a person lighting a lamp at a home shrine.2010-02-17A small blue-walled shrine room with a sandy-textured floor and a wooden canopied altar. A large framed portrait in the centre shows a long-haired man in orange clothing with a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, garlanded with white and orange flowers; this is a depiction on a print, so the candidate is labelled Swamiji (probable) by appearance cues. Smaller framed deity pictures flank the altar, and white cloth seats lie on the floor. In front are a brass plate with offerings, a tray of fresh bananas, oranges and mangoes, and bowls of sweets and fruit, indicating a puja offering setting. No people are physically present.2014-07-04 +1 copiesA home shrine photographed indoors against a white wall.
