A seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with long dark swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial necklace, with a white vibhuti or tilak on the forehead, sits centre-frame beneath a white canvas tent. Beside them on the left, a shaven-headed young monk in orange robes with yellow sandalwood marks on his forehead and a rudraksha mala looks down. In the foreground, a few people in white garments with red-patterned shawls sit with their backs to the camera, and a gold-edged seat or low stand is visible at right.

A photograph inside a home with a cream wall, framed pictures and a decorated altar corner. In the foreground on the left, a long-haired man in orange robes and a white garland of flowers sits smiling, with a tray of apples and oranges beside him. Beside him, a seated woman in orange robes holds a fruit plate. Standing centre-right, a woman in an orange and red saree with gold bangles holds her hands together in prayer, and a man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at right with palms joined. Behind them, an older man in a white shirt and a garland stands near a doorway, and a framed portrait with marigold garlands hangs above. The swami in the foreground, a probable depiction of a person, is present in person, with long hair and an orange sleeveless top.

Indoor photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange clothing with long dark hair and white flower garlands, smiling and raising a hand toward an elderly woman with grey hair and orange flowers in her hair, who is bowing and offering a white cloth and coconut. A standing man in white shirt and dhoti holds a large marigold garland, and a young man in white with an orange shawl stands at the right edge. Another man in white and red-tipped garlands watches in the background.

A photograph of an indoor ritual in a wood-pillared hall with a red-and-white patterned floor. A woman in a red blouse and orange sari, with a white flower garland and a white mark on her forehead, sits on a white-draped seat and receives offerings from a woman in a red sari with an orange border, who bends forward with cupped hands. A kneeling man in white clothes leans over a floral rug, and flower petals lie on a small wooden stool. Behind them, a man in an orange robe with a shawl and long hair stands near the door, and several men in white shirts and dhotis watch. A silver bowl and a tray with small items sit on a table at left.

A photograph of a house visit in a plain white-walled room with a framed picture on the wall. A man in a saffron-orange robe with a white flower garland and red flower garland sits on a white-draped sofa, one hand raised toward a kneeling man in a light blue shirt and white dhoti who bows with palms pressed together. A woman in a maroon sari with gold border kneels on the right, holding offerings, and a young man in white with a yellow shawl stands behind. A red tray of fruit, flowers and sweets sits in front of the seated figure, and a patterned rug covers the floor. Appearance-based cues on the seated saffron-robed man, including the long hair and garland, make him a person; he is seated, not shown on a screen, and his identity is uncertain.
