Indoor photograph in a dim room with ceiling pendant lights and a green wall. A smiling man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban, wearing a long beaded mala, stands at center. Around him, people in orange and cream garments hold up a long cream cloth, several with a visible red cloth. In the foreground, a dark-haired woman in white and a man in orange shawl with grey-brown stripes stand with their backs to the camera. The scene suggests a sannyasi-style ritual welcome with draped cloths. A plant and a wall sign are at the right edge.2006-09-10September 10 20062006-09-10March 21 20142014-03-21A photograph of a tented gathering where a group of saffron and orange-robed sadhus stand close together, smiling and talking. In the centre, a woman in an orange turban wears a heavy gold necklace and bangles and stands with a broad smile, flanked by men in orange and maroon robes, one with a long grey beard, another with a shaved head and glasses, and one at right in peach robes and a peach head cloth. Several shaved-headed men wear vertical tilak marks. Green floor matting and a steel plate are visible at lower left. Only partially visible people appear at the edges, and the scene shows a relaxed, celebratory mood.2016-05-08 +1 copiesMarch 06 20142014-03-06May 08 20162016-05-08December 30 20072007-12-30September 10 20062006-09-10Indoor photograph in a plain whitewashed hall with tiled floor and barred windows. A central man with swept-back grey hair, a white tripundra on his forehead, an orange silk robe with a gold-bordered shawl and gold necklace is joining his hands in greeting. Around him, saffron-robed men in orange turbans and white forehead markings gather, one with a rudraksha mala. At right, a grey-haired devotee in a white shirt bows with palms pressed together, and a man in white dhoti stands behind.
