A woman in an orange sleeveless garment with a golden-bordered orange sari-style wrap stands before a lit brass oil lamp, touching it with one hand. She wears a thick pink and white flower garland around her neck and has dark hair pulled back. Beside her, a large orange-toned backdrop shows a smiling man in an orange turban, and to the left a framed deity murti of a goddess seated on a lotus, crowned and holding objects, is decorated with pink and white flower garlands. A grey plaster wall and window frame are visible at left.

A photograph of a devotional aarti at a shrine decorated with garlands of white, yellow, pink and red flowers. A framed portrait on the back wall shows a smiling man with long dark hair in orange robes and a white beaded necklace, seated before a tree trunk with one hand raised; the portrait is a depiction, not a physical person. In front, a woman in an orange sleeveless top and a white flower garland in her hair holds a flame at a brass oil lamp. To the left, a young woman in a pink dress with a pink shawl and a man in white with an orange scarf stand with hands folded. At the right edge, a person in an orange garment with a pink border is seen from behind. The floor has a yellow and white flower rangoli with a red flower.

A woman in a yellow-orange sari with a pink and white flower garland stands before framed pictures draped with pink flower garlands. She holds a small brass lamp in one hand and touches it with the other, next to a tall brass oil lamp with a flame. Framed images show a deity murti seated on a lotus with a crown and a figure in yellow robes, and a large pink-turbaned portrait fills the background wall. A plain grey wall and a window with greenery appear at left.

A photograph of a priest in saffron-orange robes with a matching head cloth and a rudraksha mala, standing at a shrine and holding a long wooden staff upright in both hands. Before him, a large framed portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi and an orange robe, raises one hand in blessing; the portrait is garlanded with white and yellow flower strings and red roses. Beneath it sits a deity murti draped in a green cloth, surrounded by marigolds, and brass oil lamps stand on either side. A banner behind shows a larger printed image. The priest appears to be performing a shrine ritual with the staff.

A woman in a maroon sari with gold borders and gold bangles bends forward to offer flowers at a decorated altar. Behind her, a man in a saffron cloth stands with folded hands, and other saffron-clad sannyasis and a man in white stand nearby. The altar is wrapped in white and red garlands and framed by a green and gold cloth, with a black-and-white photograph of a bearded, white-haired elderly man in a shawl set in the centre. Framed pictures hang on the white wall above, and a tray of flowers and offerings sits at the lower left. The scene shows a devotee's puja at a shrine.

A person in an orange sannyasi-style garment with long dark hair and a white garland stands at a wall, holding a brass oil lamp (aarti lamp) toward a framed portrait. The framed portrait, labelled with a printed copyright line, shows a smiling man in orange robes with a white bead necklace seated before a banyan tree trunk, one hand raised in blessing. The portrait is decorated with a garland of white, pink and red flowers, orange gerbera blooms and fern leaves. The scene suggests a devotional lamp offering before a photograph. The orange-robed figure is a person candidate by appearance: long swept hair and saffron clothing, with a white flower garland, though the face is turned away.

A priest in saffron-orange robes and a white garland stands at left, holding a brass aarti lamp with a flame and a bell, performing puja. Vibhuti marks his forehead. To the right, a deity murti draped in orange cloth and bedecked with layered garlands of red, yellow, orange and white flowers stands in a gilded arch before a blue cloth. A decorated kalasha with flower garlands stands in front, with a brass plate at the foreground. Potted plants, a red curtain and a dark stone wall with a speaker behind complete the room.

A photograph of a puja at a home shrine. A man in an orange-red turban, bare-chested with an orange-red dhoti sash, a white flower garland and a gold armlet, holds a lit oil lamp (aarti) toward framed portraits decorated with orange and red flower garlands. In his left hand he holds a silver bell-like vessel. A second man on the right, in white clothes with a red-orange shawl and a red tilak, raises his hands in devotion. Behind the shrine sits a blue-tinted portrait of a seated robed figure with a rudraksha-style necklace, framed by a red and white garland. Brass pots and rose petals rest on a white stand below.
