A smiling man with a white sacred ash mark on his forehead and a red dot, wearing an orange saffron robe, a heavy gold-beaded necklace and gold earrings, gestures with an open hand while speaking to people around him. Several men stand nearby, including one in a white shirt with glasses and a lanyard holding a blue folder, and a man in white with a rudraksha mala and a gold-bordered white dhoti. A young child is visible in the background. Maroon drapes and a gold-toned altar with decorative elements form the backdrop.2013-03-07November 22 20102010-11-22April 04 20122012-04-04December 18 20172017-12-18A photograph of a devotional gathering at an ashram. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears a saffron-orange shawl over the shoulder, ornate gold-toned necklaces, and a beaded rudraksha-style mala, and extends his hand to greet a smiling man in white dhoti and shawl with a white-and-red forehead mark. Around them, devotees in casual clothes, a boy in a yellow shirt, and a young man in a black top stand close, and a silver tray with garlands is visible at the right edge. Behind them, more people in white ritual clothing and a red-and-white pillar complete the setting. Appearance-based cues on the central figure are distinctive, so he is a probable candidate for a person shown in person.2010-12-28November 08 20112011-11-08November 09 20112011-11-09 +1 copiesIndoor photo of a devotional gathering in a plain room with a white wall. A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing orange and maroon cloth and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace, raises his right palm in blessing toward a kneeling man in a red-and-black checked shirt, who presses his palms together. Around them, several men in white dhotis and shirts, one with orange shawl and vibhuti marks, stand with hands folded in namaste. A shaven-headed man in orange with gold beaded garlands stands at right, and a bearded man in black shirt stands in the background. A white flower garland and ritual objects are visible at lower right. Whether the central figure is a person cannot be established from appearance, so the description uses his role instead.2011-02-28October 09 20162016-10-09
