A large seated audience of devotees with palms pressed together in anjali mudra fills the frame inside a golden-pillared hall at an ashram. Women in white kurtas, saris in red, green and maroon, and salwar kameez sit in rows on a stone floor, many wearing bindi and necklaces, with brass lamps and a metal vessel at the lower right. Golden gateway pillars and a carved golden railing frame the scene, with a woman in orange walking near the entrance.
