March 30 20162016-03-30A crowd of women in orange and saffron saris with pink or maroon borders moves through an indoor hall with pale walls and a glass partition. Many wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and bangles, and some have orange flowers in their hair. They stand close together, smiling and clasping hands with one another, while a few women in deeper maroon saris stand among them.2014-09-13A group of women in red, orange and cream saris stands close together in a white-pillared hall with greenery outside. In the centre, a woman in a rust-red sari with a gold border and a dark rudraksha-style mala presses her palms together in anjali, eyes lowered. Beside her, a woman in an orange sari with red border and a red shawl stands with hands folded. A woman in a white sari with a red shawl and a pendant necklace stands at right, near the pillar, while one hand gestures outward. On the left, a woman in orange with a red shawl and hair in a bun faces away, with others in red and orange behind them. No ritual objects or readable text are visible.2015-12-20Photograph of several women in rust-orange saris with yellow borders walking in a line in an indoor hall. Foreground women wear rudraksha mala necklaces and hold small handfuls of yellow offering material, possibly turmeric or flower petals. A woman in a pale peach sari with a deep orange blouse stands with her back to the camera. Behind them a light wall and a doorway are visible, along with a patterned cloth on the floor at left. No a person candidate is visible in the frame, so the figures are devotees carrying offerings.2013-07-10July 10 20132013-07-10 +2 copiesThree women in saffron-orange saris with thin gold borders stand in a bright room with pale pink walls.
