Photograph of disassembled copper-toned metal deity parts laid out on a white sheet on a dark workshop floor. A large head with a crown-like top and a tall cylindrical neck or body section sits at the centre, flanked by two curved conch-like shell forms. Around them lie separated pieces including two elephant-headed figures, two detached hands, a forearm with clenched fist, and a pair of feet, all with dense dotted hammered texture and reddish-gold patina. Other metal pieces and a sheet of paper appear at the top edge. No people are visible.2009 - Glimpses-From-Sacredarts-UniversityClose photograph of a pair of ornately embossed copper or bronze legs. The metal is worked with floral scrollwork, beaded borders and repeating foliate patterns, and red kumkum marks are visible on the pavement. An orange cloth and a striped purple and red fabric edge appear in the background. No people are visible.2015-08-23A photograph of broken, weathered bronze or copper metal fragments laid out on an orange cloth on the floor. The pieces appear to be parts of a deity murti or ritual sculpture: a curved arm or limb, ornate carved panels, a lotus-shaped base piece, a torso fragment with engraved patterns, and a tall tubular section. Patina and dark discolouration are visible across the pieces. Edges of maroon or saffron-coloured cloth are visible at the top corners, and a metal bucket sits at the left. No people are visible in the frame.2013-09-04December 28 20112011-12-282009 - Glimpses-From-Sacredarts-UniversityPhotograph of several ornate copper-coloured metal objects resting on a grey metal table in a tiled room with terracotta hexagonal floor tiles. The pieces appear to be engraved, embossed ceremonial fittings with scalloped rims and foot-shaped or sandal-like forms, including a large pair in the foreground and a smaller curved piece at right. No people are visible.2011-12-28December 12 20092009-12-12July 01 20092009-07-01A concrete floor in a thatched-walled space with woven bamboo panels behind. In the foreground lie several large copper-coloured repoussé sheets embossed with raised ornate patterns, apparently temple or ritual metalwork such as plates or covers, arranged loosely on the ground. Nearby are a stainless steel plate with a ladle, a steel tumbler, a terracotta bowl on a ledge, a white plastic bag, a red marker pen and a white bucket. No people are visible.2009-07-01September 06 20092009-09-06July 25 20072007-07-25
