A photograph of a covered outdoor courtyard with a brick floor and palm trees behind, where a crowd of devotees stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. In the foreground, a woman with light blonde hair wears a white kurta and a beaded necklace. Beside her, a woman in a red blouse and deep orange saree stands with hands folded. Several women wear white and cream sarees or white kurtas, and a girl in a purple skirt kneels near the front. On the right, a drummer in a light shirt and dhoti plays a drum while other men in white and beige clothes stand with hands folded. The ritual appears to be a devotional gathering of devotees in prayer.

A large outdoor crowd gathers in front of palm trees at dusk, most people dressed in white with orange or yellow garlands and some holding hands together in anjali mudra. A tall ornate golden ceremonial pillar with a red and gold canopy and a red flag stands at the right edge, and a stone deity statue appears in the background. Loudspeakers stand on a stage at left beside a large display board. The crowd is dense, with many participants standing close together and several people in the foreground with hands pressed in prayer. The scene suggests a devotional procession or gathering on temple grounds.

A photograph of a covered open-air courtyard at an ashram, with a tiled floor and a corrugated metal roof supported by red steel posts, decorated with hanging colourful tassel ornaments. A long line of devotees in white and saffron-orange clothing stands or walks across the courtyard, many with palms pressed together in namaskar. Women in cream, yellow and white saris and men in white dhotis and white shawls are visible. On the right, a group of monks or priests in saffron and orange robes stands near a red structure and a tall decorated pillar, with palm trees and a stone statue in the background.

An outdoor ritual gathering under a tin-roofed shelter with palm trees behind. Two priests in saffron-orange dhotis stand at the front facing a raised altar table decorated with marigold and rose garlands, flower petals, a brass pot and a small oil lamp. The priest on the left has a shaved head and white ash markings, with a bare upper body; the priest in the center wears an orange turban and an orange shawl, hands folded in namaskar. Around them about forty devotees, mostly women in white saris and men in white dhotis and shirts, stand with folded hands, many wearing red and white garlands. A red-draped seat and a decorative cloth stand at the left edge.

A photograph of a crowd of devotees gathered under an open-sided tin-roofed shelter with red support posts and hanging coloured tassels, on a brick-paved courtyard. Many people stand in rows with hands folded in prayer. Men in white dhotis and a shaved-headed man in a white-and-red sash lead the front, women wear saris in orange, yellow and green, and a man in white kurta stands near the right. Palm trees and a tall kalasha-topped pillar rise behind, with a cart and a parked car visible. The image is a photo of an ashram gathering.

Outdoor evening procession at a palm-lined rural site. A large crowd of devotees stands on a concrete platform and along a path with palms and small white buildings behind them, many with palms pressed together in namaste. Women in a floral blue-and-teal saree and a patterned sari, men in white shirts and light trousers, and children in red and white stand close together. At left, a man in white dhoti and yellow shawl stands near a golden ornate canopy holding a deity murti on a palanquin-like shrine. Dusk light with coconut palms overhead.

A large crowd of women and girls, mostly with long braided hair, stands with arms raised and palms together in a hall with a red carpet and blue draped ceiling. Many wear white or cream salwar-style clothes, sarees in pink, orange, peach, maroon and blue, and some hold papers. In the upper right, a figure in orange and white is seated on a raised stage beside a microphone and flower decorations, and another man in white stands near it, appearing to photograph the stage. A green pole stands in the foreground.
