A seated figure in a saffron-orange turban and orange-gold garment sits on a red-cushioned seat, adorned with a long rudraksha mala and bright flower garlands, while a bare-chested man with a red-orange shawl and a beaded necklace kneels before a low table holding oranges, brass vessels and a ceremonial staff. A bald priest in orange cloth stands near him, and a man in a light blue shirt leans in, another in a beige shirt kneels holding oranges in cupped hands. Several women in white and patterned saris and men in white shirts stand in the background, and a cameraman is visible at right. Purple flowers and small oil lamps decorate the table. The image appears to show a Kailasa-linked ritual or satsang, with the seated figure in a turban and rudraksha mala as the central subject.2015-05-27Indoor satsang-style scene in a red-draped hall with a gilded throne at right. A woman in an orange-and-saffron turban, saffron sari with gold border, and heavy gold necklaces and bangles sits on the throne, extending her hand to offer a yellow fruit from a wooden tray on a low table. A kneeling man in a pale blue shirt presses his palms together before the tray. Behind them, a shaved-headed attendant in saffron with rudraksha beads sits, and several standing devotees in white and patterned shirts observe, one wearing a rudraksha mala. A camera on a tripod is visible at right. The woman has no clearly distinctive a person cues sufficient to identify him, so the candidate is unsure.2015-05-15Ornate golden throne scene at a festival stage with gilded deity murtis and a golden kalasha behind. A man seated on the gilded throne wears a red turban, reddish-orange robe and gold necklace, smiling and extending his hand toward a kneeling devotee. Standing behind him, a man in white dhoti with rudraksha mala holds a bell-like object. A man in blue kurta kneels with folded hands holding a red object, and a man in white kurta kneels with palms pressed together in namaste. Other people and a golden trident are visible at the edges. The seated figure's features are not clearly enough visible to confirm identity, so this is a seated devotee-receiving-blessing scene.2015-09-12A photograph in an ornate hall shows a woman seated on a large gold-carved throne with a red cushion, wearing an orange-and-saffron robe with yellow border, a maroon turban, multiple gold and bead necklaces, and gold armbands. She is holding a small object in her hands while a tall silver trident stands beside the throne. Nearby, a shaven-headed priest in saffron and orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a yellow tilak stands by a wooden tray holding oranges and small packets. A man in white kneels with folded hands at the lower left. Other men in white shirts and a white-clad man stand behind, and a cameraman with a tripod films the scene. Red-leafed plants decorate the foreground.2015-05-13May 09 20152015-05-09March 28 20162016-03-28A seated man in a rust-red saffron-toned robe with a brown rudraksha-style mala draped over his shoulders sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a golden back panel and a gold staff beside him. He has a red bindi and a smile, and his bare feet rest on the red cushion. In front of him, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with gold border kneels with palms joined in namaskara. Behind the throne, two women in rust-red and white saris wear beaded necklaces and stand on a red carpet, one holding a microphone, with green foliage behind. The scene resembles a formal darshan or padapuja setting. Appearance-based cues on the seated man (saffron robe, rudraksha mala, ceremonial throne) are present, but the image is not clear enough to confirm identity, so the seated man is described by role.2016-05-11September 11 20152015-09-11A photograph inside a temple hall with a gilded, ornately carved golden throne at centre. A shaved-headed, bare-chested figure in orange cloth and a dark rudraksha mala sits on the throne, with a red cushion beneath him. A woman on the left wears an orange sari, a gold headband and beaded necklaces, and holds a silver vessel. A man in an orange robe and a gold necklace stands behind the throne, and a white yak-hair chamara fan is raised above. Men in white shirts and dhotis stand and kneel around the throne, one kneeling to touch the base of the throne. An orange saffron flag hangs at top left and an orange arched doorway glows at top right.2012-05-09
