The printed portrait shows a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi, an orange saffron robe, a white and beaded necklace, sitting in meditation with one hand raised in blessing before a tree trunk backdrop. Brass lamps stand behind the throne and carved stone pillars appear at right. Because the portrait is a depiction, this is not a person physically present. The image is a photograph of a printed portrait on a throne, with no visible people in the scene.A framed photograph of a seated man in orange robes with a red bindi, long dark hair, rudraksha beads and a white flower garland, one hand raised in greeting, is displayed on an orange-draped seat. The framed portrait bears a caption reading "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" printed on its mount. Below the portrait, a silver plate holds pink and white flowers, green leaves and a small brass deity murti, set on an orange cloth in front of the seat. No physical people are visible. The scene reads as a portrait altar prepared with flower garlands and a flower-laden plate.January 01 20112011-01-01A framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" sits on a draped orange cloth throne-like seat before golden curtains. The portrait shows a seated man in orange robes with long dark hair, a red forehead mark, white flower garland and beaded mala, raising one hand. Red and white flower garlands hang around the frame. In front stand a tray of pink flowers, a banana leaf with offerings, a bowl of bananas, small brass oil lamps and a silver bowl. No people are physically present. The setting resembles a puja arrangement and is shown as a devotional display rather than a live ritual.
