Behind them a seated man in white and an orange-shawled man stand in a room with cream walls.2013-02-25A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron shawl and gold ornate necklaces with rudraksha-style gold beads, seated beside a red and gold throne-like seat. He has a vertical tilak on his forehead and places his right hand on the head of a seated devotee in a white striped shirt, giving blessing during darshan. Bracelets of pearl and gold beads are visible on his wrists. A second person's head is partly visible at the lower right. Sanskrit-style blessing gesture with a red velvet throne at left.2012-01-08A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and white markings, wearing a heavy gold necklace of large beads and gold bangles, smiling as he touches the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt who holds his palms together in namaskar. Behind them is a red cushioned throne with gold carved trim and a stone pillar. Another person's head is visible at the right edge. The setting suggests an ashram darshan or blessing moment. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, a rudraksha-style gold bead necklace and a bindi, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference.2012-01-08November 09 20112011-11-09September 18 20112011-09-18A photograph of a smiling man in saffron-orange dress with an orange turban and white vertical tilak on his forehead, bare-shouldered with orange and rudraksha-style beaded malas and a gold pendant. He rests his right hand on the head of a seated young man in a white shirt and glasses, who bows with hands joined. A second man in orange with a red bindi stands behind, and a golden ornate throne or peetha is visible in the blurred background. Hands folded at the left edge suggest devotees. The scene looks like a blessing or darshan moment.2013-02-26A photograph of a ritual blessing during an indoor event. A man with long swept-back hair, a red and white forehead mark, rudraksha-style beaded and gold ceremonial necklaces, and an orange-red robe with an orange shawl places his right hand on the head of a young man in a white shirt, who has his eyes lowered and hands folded. On the left, a man in glasses and a grey-blue shirt stands with palms pressed together in prayer. Behind them a priest in a white-marked forehead and orange garment stands nearby, and a paper sheet is held in the foreground. Probable Swamiji (appearance cues: long swept-back hair, ceremonial gold necklace and orange-red robe) is the presiding figure performing the blessing.2013-04-01October 31 20102010-10-31 +2 copiesMarch 23 20082008-03-23November 05 20112011-11-05
