April 21 20062006-04-21April 21 20062006-04-21A photograph taken from above of a wooden-panelled staircase with a patterned red and gold carpet and red railings wrapped in string lights. In the foreground, a man with grey hair in white clothes with a red-and-saffron shawl carries a brass tray. Beside him, a long-haired figure in a white robe, hands folded in namaskar, walks down the stairs. Behind them, women in red and orange saris and a person in white stand on the landing near glass doors. Framed red artworks hang on the upper wall. Several people are visible, and the scene suggests a procession or ritual ceremony.2006-04-21April 21 20062006-04-21April 21 20062006-04-21Women seated on red-tiered temple steps at night, each holding a small lit oil lamp or diya with orange flames. Behind them stand rows of brass lamps and dark stone shivalingam-shaped pedestals. Several women wear saris in pink, orange, green and striped colours, and one in a white kurta with red-and-green shawl and a red beaded mala sits centrally, lighting her lamp. A woman in a blue kurta wearing glasses lights a lamp at right, and a woman in a dark top and red scarf sits at left. Two more women are partly visible at the lower edge.2016-12-12April 21 20062006-04-21Indoor photograph in a warmly lit hall with cream walls and a red-and-gold patterned floor cloth. In the foreground, a woman in a rust-red sari with gold border and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace holds a gold kalasha-style vessel with red flowers and garland, offering it to a seated woman in red robes who bows her head. Behind them, a woman in white and orange-red stands with a red shawl, and other seated women in red and white clothes watch. A rust-red cushion and a standing fan are visible on the right. The scene suggests a blessing ritual with a sacred vessel.2014-03-10Photograph of an indoor gathering in a hotel-style room with warm lighting and patterned carpet. Devotees wear white kurta-style clothing and red shawls or stoles, many with beaded necklaces and red lanyard-style badges. Some people sit cross-legged on the carpet while others stand and talk; a woman in the centre wears white with rimless glasses and a red stole, and a woman at right wears a light blue sari with a red shawl. No clear a person figure is visible, so no identification is made. Scene appears to be a satsang or group sharing session.2014-07-26A photo of a group descending a red-and-cream stepped stairway between white stone pillars. In the foreground a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with rudraksha mala walks at the front, with a woman in orange sari and beaded necklace beside him. Behind them a bald man in saffron clothes holds a pale-yellow fringed parasol-shaped canopy aloft. Several Western women and men in white clothes with red scarves follow, one carrying a rolled green yoga mat and another a blue mat. Trees and greenery surround the steps. Persons are walking as a procession, not a seated satsang.2014-03-10A seated satsang gathering in a hall with steel railings and orange mats, where a woman in a cream floral sari with pink flowers leans forward to offer a brass plate of yellow flowers and turmeric-coloured offerings to a young woman in white, who extends her hands over it. Around them, devotees sit cross-legged on orange mats, many wearing white kurtas or tops and rudraksha malas, some in blue, red and yellow clothing. A saffron cloth hangs from the ceiling at the upper left.2010-12-23July 09 20152015-07-09
