A woman in a white sari with gold-bordered sleeves and a red bindi sits smiling on a red tiled floor, holding small packets in both hands. Beads of a rudraksha-style mala hang around her neck. Around her, several people in saffron orange cloth sit or lie on the floor, some with bundles wrapped in orange fabric and small packets beside them. A red-draped altar or platform stands behind, with a white plastic chair at left.2006-08-17A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robe with a long white flower garland, long swept-back dark hair and a tilak, reaching toward a red-orange tray of fruit and offerings held by a standing attendant in white dhoti with a yellow sash. A kneeling woman in white with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala smiles nearby, a white towel draped over a seated pair of feet, and a standing man in white at left. A bowl of mangoes sits in the foreground beside a white cushioned seat. The man in saffron with the garland and long hair is a person by appearance cues, shown in an in-person seated ritual setting.2010-02-17A photograph of a bare-chested man with long dark hair, wrapped in an orange cloth, seated on a wooden swing with a red cushion and brass chains at a tiled doorway. He is reaching to take small green and purple vegetables from a man in white kneeling on the tiled floor, who holds out his hands. Several standing people in white and orange clothing stand behind them. The man on the swing has distinctive long hair and orange wrap, and his appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, though this is an appearance-based label only. Scattered eggplants lie on the floor in the foreground.2006-08-17Outdoor ritual gathering on a red mat over grass. A smiling man in orange saffron robes and an orange head wrap with a rudraksha mala sits on a wooden chair with bare feet on a woven mat, laughing. A kneeling woman in white with a gold-bordered cloth and an orange shawl faces him, and another seated person in white with an orange shawl sits beside plates of food. Several people in white dhotis and orange shawls stand around, and rose petals and a small metal cup lie on the mat. Banana leaves and a red plastic chair appear at the edge.2006-11-12A photograph of a seated figure in an orange robe and white flower garland with dark red beads, smiling broadly, on a white-draped chair. A young boy in white kurta and pants stands before them, holding a small bouquet, while a kneeling person in white is touching the boy's back. Behind them, a man in an orange robe with a gold necklace holds a tray, and several saffron-robed attendants stand at left. A brass oil lamp, a silver tray of fruit and a white decorative vessel sit on an orange-draped table at right, in a marble-floored interior with carved wooden doors. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long dark hair, an orange garment and a flower garland, and is positioned as the honoured guest receiving the boy.2010-01-10A seated man in an orange saffron robe with a red bindi on his forehead smiles warmly on an orange-upholstered chair with a red cushion. A devotee in a white shirt kneels before him at left, hands pressed together in a respectful namaskar, head bowed. Behind them is a wooden tray with compartments holding bananas and purple flowers, and a golden tray with red apples and a copper bowl sit on a stone ledge with brass ritual vessels, lamps and a white-clad attendant with an orange shawl. Overlapping text reads a copyright line and source credit in the lower right corner. The scene suggests a darshan moment.2010-07-06August 17 20062006-08-17A smiling man with long dark hair swept back, wearing an orange saffron shawl over a bare upper body and a long rudraksha mala with dark beads, sits on a red cushioned seat against a bright orange backdrop. A red tilak mark is on his forehead. He receives a bunch of yellow bananas from a person in a white garment in the foreground, whose arm and shoulder are partly visible at left. The image is a photo; the man's appearance is suggestive of a person, with long swept-back hair, saffron shawl and rudraksha mala, though the identification is uncertain.2010-07-29December 07 20072007-12-07May 10th 20162016-05-10Outdoor ritual gathering on grass at a Salem ashram inauguration event. A man with long dark hair, an orange turban, orange shawl and rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on a woven mat at left, smiling, with a wooden carved chair behind him. Beside him a bearded man in white dhoti and white kurta with orange shawl offers bananas from a brass plate on a green leaf. A young man in white kurta and white dhoti with orange shawl kneels at right, presenting a plate of bananas. Standing and seated onlookers in white dhotis and shirts watch from behind red plastic chairs. Red cloth covers the ground beneath the ritual.2006-11-12A photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair and a rudraksha mala, smiling and gesturing. Before him a kneeling man in orange robes with folded hands faces him. Behind them, a man in white kurta with an orange shawl stands, and another man in orange robes stands at right beside a wooden tray holding fruit, flowers and offerings. Pink and purple flowers decorate the right edge against a plain grey floor.2010-07-27
