Worship Through Idols versus Idol Worship

Description:

From the works of Living Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. This clip is taken from discourse titled, "Love and Merge with Existence". Swamiji tells us that human body is created to achieve four major aspects - Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. He tells us that having clarity about Jagat (World), Jeva (Self) and Eshwara (God) results in the psychological revolution in us. In this clip Shiva gives a beautiful technique to use the senses which, by it's own nature is going out, and use them to turn inwards. He also goes on to tell us that unless we realize Deity IS god, worship through idol is possible, otherwise only idol worship happens. Swamiji narrates the beautiful incident in Gujarat during his wandering days where he had the darshan of Krishna through a devout old lady who as the embodiment of worship through the idol.
