Bahir Dar in Ethiopia and the Sovereign State of SHRIKAILASA, the Ancient Enlightened Civilizational Nation, First Nation of Hindus entered into bilateral relations - emphasizing their similar values on cultural understanding, religious freedom and other rights, eradication of hunger, youth leadership, holistic health and education initiatives, exchanges to educate citizens, environmental stewardship and sustainable living.

Bahir Dar is the capital of the Amhara Region in Ethiopia and former capital of West Gojjam. Administratively, Bahir Dar is a Special Zone. Bahir Dar is one of the leading tourist destinations in Ethiopia, with a variety of attractions in the nearby Lake Tana and Blue Nile river. The city is known for its wide avenues lined with palm trees and a variety of colorful flowers. In 2002 it was awarded the UNESCO Cities for Peace Prize for addressing the challenges of rapid urbanization.

Today we celebrate the fourth AADI VELLI, the fourth Friday (VELLI KIZHAMAI) in the auspicious month of AADI.

We offered our Daily Guru Paduka Puja and Shiva Puja, 12 Aug 2022, giving gratitude to Swamiji. This was not compassion born out of ahiṁsā, nonviolence, but pity born out of hiṁsā, violence. Arjuna’s emotions arose from his root pattern, his ego. Friday, 12th Aug 2022 - Today's temple sevas and enriching activity included:

1) Online Nithyananda Yoga @ 5 am - At Brahma Muhurta, a total of 14 lives were enriched for the daily Yoga spiritual routine of Prathama Vinyasa krama conducted by our yoga acharya, Sri Yogajnanananda.

2) Temple sevas - Today's morning seva was offered by Ma Durga which began with Suprabatham - waking up the deities, offering Paduka puja to Swamiji, Naivedyam puja - offering sacred food to deities, Jnanalaya puja - offering puja to Devi Saraswathi. Finally, palliyarai - putting the deities to sleep - was offered by Sean Neoh.
