Tirugnana Sambandhar Guru Pooja Festival at Shyamala Peetham Sarvajnapeetham in Madurai
Description:
His Divine Holiness, 293rd Guru Maha Sannidhanam of Sarvagnya Peetam, graced the last day of the 5-day Tirugnana Sambandhar Guru Pooja Festival at Shyamala Peetham Sarvajnapeetham in Madurai. Well before sunrise, to the accompaniment of traditional nadaswaram music by artistes from Tiruvannamalai, the temple elephant and priests welcomed His Divine Holiness and took Him in procession to the Meenakshi-Sundareshwara temple. Entering through the East tower, Swamiji graced the auspicious Suprabhata seva - gently awakening the Divine couple Meenakshi and Sundareshwara (Devi & Shiva) with music and worship.
