On 20 Nov 2006, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam (HDH) performed the purification rituals (Shuddhi Kriya) at the spot of the sanctum sanctorum of the upcoming Temple of Sri Anandeshwar at the ashram in Bangalore. The presiding deities of Sri Anandeshwar and Anandeshwari went on a procession in Salem, and came back to AdiKailasa, Bangalore and were consecrated at this spot on 1st Jan 2007. The temple was assembled at a rapid pace after this day. Following this, continuous energising happened at this spot until 1 Jan 2007, when the deities were consecrated.
