PRAMANA：Āpta Pramāṇa - आप्त प्रमाण
Apta Pramana Source：
Kumbhaka Paddadhi 193
Original Verse：
"घोणाभ्यां च मुखेनापि युगपत् पूरयेत् सदा |
त्रिशूलिना त्रिशूलाख्यः कुम्भ उक्तस्-त्रिशूलनुत् ॥ १९३ ॥"
Transliteration：
"ghoṇābhyāṃ ca mukhenāpi yugapat pūrayet sadā |
triśūlinā triśūlākhyaḥ kumbha uktas-triśūlanut ॥ 193 ॥"
Translation：
"One should always inhale through both the nostrils and mouth simultaneously and hold the breath (before exhalation). This is Triśūla Kumbhaka by Śiva which removes three-fold sufferings. "
